About Garmin watch straps

Lots of Garmins share the same strap, so if you've upgraded you might not need new ones. The Forerunner 245, Forerunner 645, Vivoactive 3, Vivoactive 3 Music and Vivomove HR all take the same 20mm strap. The Fenix 5 shares its strap with the Quatix 5 and Quatix 5 Sapphire, and the Fenix 3 with the Fenix 3 HR.

There are plenty of shared straps across the Forerunner range too, and they're all listed on our Forerunner straps page. Not sure which Garmin you've got? The Garmin Connect app shows it when you tap your watch.

Garmin Strap Questions

Are these official Garmin straps?

No. They're compatible replacement straps, made to fit just like the originals.

Will my old Garmin strap fit my new one?

Sometimes. A few models share a strap, like the Forerunner 245 and Vivoactive 3, or the Fenix 5 and Quatix 5. Every product page says which models it fits.

How do I check which Garmin I've got?

Open the Garmin Connect app and tap your watch in the device list, and it'll show the exact model name. It's also printed on the back of most Garmin watches.

Do your straps come with spring bars?

Yes, every strap comes with spring bars. Quick-release straps have quick-release spring bars fitted, so you can swap them without a tool.
