Garmin watchstrap

This is the second time I have replaced the strap on my Garmin Forerunner 45 watch. This strap appears to be fit for purpose but I wonder about its longevity.

My search for a replacement strap showed a wide range of prices, from under £10 to over £45. The last probably being a true Garmin item. My first choice was at the lower end and lasted a few months. So this time I selected I higher priced item.

I would say that despite paying about twice as much, the strap is probably not much different. It fits the watch but not tightly, and the length of the strap is barely adequate. I think if you are going to go for a cheaper brand, you may as well go for the cheapest. I guess that unless you are prepared to pay the Garmin price you have to accept a less durable product.
