About Anti Allergy watch straps

If your wrist gets itchy or red under a strap, the material is usually the culprit. Silicone and FKM rubber are smooth and non-porous, so sweat doesn't soak in, and nylon lets air get to your skin. Prefer leather? Our Windsor Sensitive straps have a barrier coating between the leather and your wrist. Or try vegan straps like cork and pineapple leaf, which skip the leather tanning chemicals altogether.

Plenty of these are quick release, so you can swap between two straps and give your skin a rest. Our guide to the best watch straps for sensitive skin goes into more detail, and if you're not sure of your size, here's how to measure a watch strap.

Sensitive Skin Questions

What's the best watch strap material for sensitive skin?

Silicone, FKM rubber and nylon are the safest bets for most people. There are no leather tanning chemicals and they're easy to keep clean. If you'd rather wear leather, go for an anti allergy strap with a protective coating.

Are your buckles nickel-free?

Yes. Every strap we sell comes with a nickel-free buckle as standard.

Why is my watch strap giving me a rash?

It's usually nickel in a buckle or bracelet, chemicals in the leather, or sweat trapped under a strap that's too tight. Try a different material and keep the area clean and dry. If it doesn't clear up, have a word with your pharmacist or GP. There's more in our sensitive skin guide.

Do your straps come with spring bars?

Yes, every strap comes with spring bars. Quick-release straps have quick-release spring bars fitted, so you can swap them without a tool.
